A recent video has gone viral showcasing a 78 year-old woman deadlifting an incredible 225 pounds. What’s even more impressive is that she is able to do three reps with fantastic form and without any problem!

MP’s Take: What an awesome job. However, this exercise at this weight is not for everyone, especially of a higher age. The woman in the video has likely been deadlifting for many years and has progressively made her way up to the weight she is at, rather than just jumping in and starting with such a heavy resistance. Always make sure you are taking care of your body and are staying safe when performing exercises as high weights!
