Here are the top 10 greatest moments in Mr. Olympia history...

#10- The Lion Roars (1983)

Samir Bannout, known as the "Lion of Lebanon", burst onto the scene with his first and only Sandow. Some still deem him as having the most perfect physique ever for his combination of muscular size and symmetry.

#9- Age is Just a Number (2008)

Most of the bodybuilders competing in Mr. Olympia are in their early 30's. However, Toney Freeman broke away from the status quo. At the age of 42, practically 10 years older than most of his competitors, Freeman finished top 5 in the 2008 Mr O.

#8- 2nd to None (2009)

After not competing in the Olympia in 2007 or 2008, Branch Warren returned to shock the bodybuilding world by placing 2nd at the 2009 Olympia, one spot ahead of 2008 champion Dexter Jackson and runner-up to three time winner Jay Cutler.

#7- The Incredible Hulk (1974)

Arnold became bodybuilding's golden boy and a one of a kind champion. However, 6'5, 270-pound Lou Ferrigno stepped on stage with Arnold, and even Arnold would look. Even though Arnold beat out Ferrigno, Ferrigno was said to of brought the sport into mainstream culture and paved the way for the birth of the Incredible Hulk.

#6- The King Takes the Throne (1998)

Before 1998, Ronnie Coleman only placed in the top six once and finished 9th the year before. However, in 1998, Coleman took a seat on the throne and remained King Ronnie for eight straight years, tying Lee Haney as the most Mr. Olympia titles ever.

#5- The Birth of an Icon (1970)

Sergio Oliva dominated the field in the late '60s, winning three straight Mr. O crowns from 1967-1969. In 1969, Oliva even defeated Arnold, the only bodybuilder to ever defeat Arnold Schwarzenegger in a Mr. Olympia contest. However, 1970 proved to be Oliva's demise as champion. Schwarzenegger won his first title, and, well...you know the rest is history...

#4- Nearly De-Throned (2001)

Heading into the 2001 Mr. Olympia, Ronnie Coleman was practically untouchable. Many people thought there was nobody that had a legitimate chance against King Ronnie. However, Jay Cutler, who placed eighth the year before, actually led Ronnie through prejudging. Jay had such a transformation from the year before and many saw him as the most shredded competitor out there. However, Ronnie edged out Jay by a slim four points, one of the more unexpected moments in Olympia history.

#3- Aching for a Title (1994)

No one thought Dorian Yates had a shot at even competing in Mr. Olympia. He had a torn shoulder ligament that impaired his chest and deltoid training, a torn quadriceps muscle that impaired his leg training for five weeks and a torn biceps muscle nine weeks before the start of the competition. However, three injuries later, Yates prevailed for his third straight title.

#2- Cutler is King (2006)

Heading into the 2006 Mr. Olympia, many thought Ronnie Coleman would win his unprecedented ninth Sandow, passing Lee Haney for most all time. However, Jay Cutler was on the verge of overtaking King Ronnie, after finishing second to Coleman in placing three consecutive years from 2003-2005. Sporting an even bigger and more defined physique than prior years, Cutler overtook Ronnie as Mr. Olympia. This proved to be Cutler's rise and Coleman's downfall; Cutler has won three titles since then and Coleman has never gaining back into elite form. The end of the Ronnie Coleman era may be the end of a dying breed: an elite bodybuilder who could dominate the sport as long as he had.

#1- The Comeback Kid (1980)

Arnold came out of retirement to compete in the 1980 Mr. O. Schwarzenegger was training for his role in Conan, and he got into such good shape, that he decided to go for a Mr. Olympia title one last time. Schwarzenegger kept this as a secret up until the day of the competition. He was even hired as the event's color commentator for network television, when he announced at the eleventh hour, "Why not compete?". He ended up winning the event with only seven weeks of preperation.
