Proper Form During Exercising is Essential for Chest Growth

Proper Form During Exercising is Essential for Chest Growth

The chest is one of the most sought after bodyparts and with good reason. In order to build a massive and detailed chest you need to hit it hard with some powerful mass building exercises and then some isometric contractions to engage the smaller muscle fibers to bring out the detail and striations in your chest. However, it is not to be mistaken to substitute form for weight. Instead, you should be lifting to achieve a muscular pump in the muscle you are actually performing. It is not about the weight that you can move. Hence, you should never perform any of these exercises wrong . Your goal in the gym is not to enter a competition and see how much weight you can do. The purpose of going to the gym is to work out on a particular muscle group so that it can grow and you can look better. That only occurs when you perform proper form and ACTUALLY work the muscle you are intending to work. Using your shoulders in the bench press is not what you're supposed to do-- you're supposed to use your chest, so remember that when you're lifting next time. Here is a sample routine to perform that will help you bring out lots of power and strength, but also rip it up to reveal the detailed musculairty in your chest when you take your shirt off.

  • Bench Press: 4 Sets x 12-6 reps
  • Incline Bench Press: 3 x 10-6 reps
  • Cable Flyes: 4 x 15-10 reps
  • Incline Chest Press Machine: 3 x 10 reps – 3 Dropsets Per Set (Lower the weight without any rest and perform 10 more reps
  • Pec Deck Machine: 2 x 10 reps
