Paul Dillett, was the first mass freak ever. Well before Ronnie Coleman came aorund sporting a ripped 300 pound body, there was Paul Dillett, who made every pro look like a small child. Howeve, mass wasn't as popular back in the day than it is now and perhaps that is why he only had top finish of 4 at the Olympia (still, an incredible feat).
Dillett stood more than 6 feet, 1 inches and sported such a massive physique that no one ever did at such a height. Dillett's training focused on pairing intensity sets with a lot of volume.
Paul Dillett had some of the best legs in the business and crazy veins to go along with it, showing ridiculous vascularity at his enormous size. Dillett's calves measured a whopping 22" . His exercise routine was as follows:
