Papaya
Another powerhouse of nutrition is the papaya. This tropical yellow/orange fruit produces so many health benefits that Christopher Columbus dubbed it “The fruit of Angels”.
Papaya is rich in B vitamins, antioxidants, pantothenic acid, folate, fiber, magnesium and potassium. These essential nutrients work together to maintain both colon health and cardiovascular health. It’s also beneficial for good digestion due to key enzymes and is a strengthener of the immune system via its large doses of beta-carotene which is converted by the body into vitamins A and C.
