Here’s a simple formula to build more muscle: for a particular exercise, multiply the amount of weight you normally lift by the total number of times you lift it by the total number of sets you do (i.e.- Bench Press: 200 lbs. x 10 reps x 5 sets= 10,000 lbs.). Try to increase that number each successive session by adding more weight or performing more reps, or a combination of both, keeping to the same number of sets and keeping within the same allotted time (i.e.- 1 hour).
