Muesli
Muesli is a super healthy food which is mainly eaten for breakfast, but can be munched on as a nutritious snack as well. What gives muesli its nutritional punch is that it’s a cereal made of rolled oats, fruits and nuts, thus providing a smorgasbord of vitamins, minerals, protein, calcium and fiber in each serving. As a matter of fact, one serving of muesli is equivalent to eating 2 pieces of fruit as well as supplying your recommended daily supply of protein and fiber.
The great thing about muesli is that you can buy it in a wide variety of mixtures containing fruits, spices, chocolate, honey and ore. It also keeps for a very long time so storage is no problem.
If you’re really into the fitness scene and want to create your own fresh and nutritious muesli snack, simply combine fresh and dried fruits, milk products, ground nuts and seeds, lemon juice and spices into a bowl and bon appétit!
