Jermain Taylor Workout
Jermain Taylor is an intelligent boxer who was the undisputed middleweight champion after he beat Bernard Hopkins and won his first 25 professional bouts. Jermain Taylor does a combination of speed and power workouts.
Taylor is notorious for being very hard on his sparring partners and treats each session as a prizefight. After being criticized for his lack of energy in the later rounds when defending his title, he started to focus on training his legs with plyometric exercises to carry his energy through the later rounds. Taylor also works with tennis balls (having them thrown at him) to make sure he slips punches during the fight easier. Also, Taylor uses a tire and hammer to help with muscle and endurance.
Jermain Taylor is an incredibly hard worker and views every minute as an opportunity to improve. Taylor is also a big fan of running. He runs upwards of five miles a day except Sundays.
