Jeff Left Hook Lacy Workout
Jeff Lacy spars every other day. On days he doesn't spar, he jumps rope and does a lot of core work with medicine balls. Having a strong core is imperative in boxing. All of the power and explosion starts in the core. In addition, boxers must be able to take continuous blows to the stomach. Otherwise, they wouldn't survive a match. Boxers have some of the strongest cores around. When was the last time you haven't seen a boxer with a six pack? (Unless they are those super heavyweight kind of guys!)
Every night Lacy runs 3-5 miles. Once a week, he takes an especially long run that is usually about 6-7 miles. This helps him with his endurance and gives him a lot of added strength to go all 12 rounds with full-steam.
