Try doing the same amount of exercise in 10 percent less time by cutting down the amount of rest in between sets (not the overall amount of sets or reps). It forces your muscles to work harder and improves muscular endurance. If it takes you 30 minutes to do a workout then try to do it in 27 minutes the next time.

 



To build muscle mass, you must take in more calories than your body is burning off. To gain mass, you should be eating around 18-20 times your bodyweight (lbs.) in calories. You should focus on eating as much as you can, but make sure to stay away from the unhealthy junk food. Stick to lean proteins, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. Avoid trans-fats and sugars at all costs!

Side lateral raises done with dumbbells at the sides of the thighs better isolates the middle deltoid. However, doing front lateral raises with dumbbells allows you to lift significantly more weight as opposed to performing side lateral raises, which makes it the ideal exercise to overload the middle deltoids.
