Chicken breast is both lean and full of protein and makes an excellent substitute for the more fatty beef and pork. Compared to a trimmed T-bone steak, chicken breast contains considerably less fat (less than half). Just be sure to remove the skin which contains a great deal of saturated fat.


Chicken breast that is grilled provides an extra healthy bonus. Grilling foods is a preferred cooking method for healthy diets, allowing you to meet your weight loss goals. Add fresh grilled vegetables to the plate and you’re set for a super meal.
