Do you work out early or late in the day? Pros and Cons of both Early: You get the work done, feel pretty good for the rest of the day. You also put in 3-5 meals, and don't go through the sleeping catabolization as much. Bad part, you go through the whole day doing stuff, but your muscles are already tired. Late: You put in 3-5 meals before you work out, giving you energy, although you can only put in 1-2 meals after working out before you sleep, you sleep sooner and get the recovery process going faster, and you do not have to worry about overtraining as much.

If I can I do it in the morning but since school is back I do it in the afternoon.

I find that early or late doesn't make a large difference in my motivation or meals, but for me it's best to go middle of the day when the gym isn't too busy so that I can super set without having to wait for busy equipment.

To make it work for me I have to train after work, so I bring lunch plus a meal than I eat straight before I drive to the gym. That way my meals dont get ruined. But I guess it varies as how much you do in a day. It's different for everyone. Also I have 3 meals before practice then 2 after. with a protein shake before and after practice.

I like mid afternoons because I feel like I have the most energy.
