Hey guys, i have a question about lats. I've done lats two different ways when doing pull downs. My dad who is a pretty good bodybuilder says i need to lean back and pull the bar towards my chest. I've also tried sitting straight up and pulling the bar straight down in front of me. I get a better burn this way and get tired quicker. So does that mean this is working better? Any info is appreciated.

Using the lat machine is a pulldown when you use your own body weight its a pullup.
