Just started about 3 weeks ago, completely changed my diet and started lifting 5 days a week. I am 5'9" and was about 197 lbs. I am now down to 186 lbs, but I am not trying to lose the weight. I would like to get cut but I want to build muscle. Even see Amittyville horror with Ryan Reynolds? I want to look just like that, I love that movie and that's my goal. I eat 2 eggs over easy with 2 pieces of wheat bread and a 1/2 cup of unsweetened oatmeal for breakfast. I then have a shake 23g of protein 3 hrs later. I have a can of tuna with 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and an apple 3 hours later. Another shake before workout with creatine (5g) Dinner is a 5 oz chicken breast, steamed vegetables and either apple sauce or some pasta (about a cup). I take my multivitamin's in the morning with breakfast. Should I increase my intake of anything??? My workouts I split to do 1 muscle group a day. I do not have a specific routine yet, I just try to do what ever works out that muscle til I feel like I've done my job. Workouts usually last about 45 min to 1.5hrs. Some cardio, not much and abs every other day. A workout routine for each muscle would probably help, so far I am seeing nice results, abs are peaking through and notice growth in my chest and arms. I have always been athletic and tend to stay fit. I'd like some growth though. Any help or suggestions would be great, thanks for the time and great site. Tim

You should just focus on building muscle first rather than cutting weight. Building muscle is a much longer process than loosing fat/weight. pluss you will look better/thinner on the journey as you buiild muscle. Also, eat more chicken, and add some glutamin/L-arginine for mucle restitutuion. And start writing down all you eat and how much you lift and how many reps.
