my lower back gets fatigued when doing bent over row to the point where I need to stop doing the movement even though I can do a few more reps. is this a bad sign or something completely natural?

this may be a sign of some natural lower back muscle soreness from your typical exercise regimen or could be something worse like a strain or pulled muscle or even a herniated disk. If the pain is localized to that specific area only when you do that particular movement, then just cut the movement out of your regimen and do some other exercises that are less painful and give it a chance to heal on its own. If you have pain in your lower back continually, you may have a herniated disk which may require rest from any physical activity, cortisol shots, and/or surgery. Get it checked out by your doctor if pain persists.

theLegend1 I also had that problem and it turned out that I had strained my back. The doctor had me on bed rest for a few days and it cleared up but I don't use the rower anymore because of the strain. Good Luck
