| do weighted ab exercises make your abs stick out (and make you appear to have a gut)? |

| Your ab muscles do not grow outward, they grow up and down. The only way to see your abs is to shed bodyfat.

| weighted abs are so beneficial for you.... If your abs stick farther out away from the body it will appear that there is less fat in between the abdominals, as it appears that there is less fat around your arms if they are bigger...train heavy when doing abs but only 2 or 3 times a week...

| I'm serious guys. That "8 Minute Abs" video really works. It's a great workout because you are overloading your abs for 8 minutes straight. Highly recommended.

| Try sit ups and machines that target the abd muscles.
