| Do it 3 hours after you have worked out and on an empty stomach. I do 30 minutes/ 7 times week and I have gained 5-6 pounds in 5-6 weeks and I didn't even have an ideal diet (I improved it even more ideally now so it will get even better), I have not gained any fat and lost about 1% of bodyfat due to this. Besides, even if you decide not to do cardio while bulking to keep things balanced then by the time itll come to cutting down you'll be overly fat and you wont be able to run due to al of that mass so you wont even be able to complete 30 minutes.
Cardio also helps you maintain hgh intensity during working out and keeps your breathing controlled.
I am defendng cardio during bulking phases, like others I know who have been bodybuildng for 10 years and are pretty built. You should be eating 1.4 protien / bodyweight anyways just to make sure you get maximum protien absorbtion.... so cardio only makes things better(throws away the useless carbs and such that would become fat; because remember what ever doesnt go n your muscle will go to your fat so therefore itll be better to just lose it all together).

| And the debate continues.
Look, i do cardio during bulking too...but i do it for fun.
Sunday i played an intense game of backyard football with my freinds for 3 hours. Im sure that 3 hours did much more for my heart, than 25 minutes on the bike every other day.
If you really want to do cardio, do something that you enjoy: football, basketball, boinkin..etc

| this is true of course, I agree that to get true quality muscle you have to eat fattening foods.. but just to give you all a statistic, even though I do 30 minutes of cardio / 7 days a week (I actually enjoy it 50% of the time hehe) I STILL gained 1% bodyfat, I am sure it would have been 5-6% if I didn't do the cardio, so this shows that you could successfully bulk while doing cardio to minimize fat gains.. I am just gonna have to give more whole-heartedness the next time I do cardio so this doesn't keep up hehe.
