Anyone's thoughts on running stairs? Does it burn more calories than running uphill or treadmill or high resistance on a exercise bike?

running stairs is the best calorie burner there is. take it from me, I did that daily.

stairs > running outside > treadmill > elliptical > bike

true that* jsut make sure when you run stairs, you're doing them all out and not jsut lolly gagging up- really push yourself- set up goals by timing yorself and trying to beat certain times

people fail to realize that running stairs can build you bigger legs than most leg exercises alone. i have done so from experience.

Timing yourself is the best way to get the true benefits from running stairs. Cut time off every few days.
