| I had that same problem, but the only way I can think of is just keep at it. Before, I could hardly run a mile, but now I can easily run three. Just keep at it.

| My best advice would be to slow down your jog, and increase your distance, breathing will come with experience.
It took me about a month, but now, I can run about 7.5 Miles in the evening, which takes me about 35-40 minutes.
At the first, I started off jogging/running about 2 Miles, in about 20-25 Minutes, then gradually started to get faster, once I was running 2 Miles in about 15-20, I picked up the distance, to about 3 Miles, and so on and so on.
Stay consistent, and stay dedicated.
You will also notice your breathing will become less and less heavy the more you run, which is a sign your cardio system is getting stronger.
Good Luck!

| If you can jog 1 mile without having to stop, then do it, rest for 5-10 minutes, then do it again. Eventually, you'll be able to go 2 without stopping. And, pretty much, once you get your lungs large enough, you can run as much as your legs will allow you to.
Personally, I didn't get my wind until I started doing 4 1 mile intervals. 3 weeks later, I was able to run 8 miles straight through.

| I use HIT (someone please fill in what it stands for i believe its high intensity something).
I run for 20 min basically what I do is this...
Minute 1: 50%
Minute 2: 50%
Minute 3: 60%
Minute 4: 70%
Minute 5: 80%
Minute 6: 90%
Minute 7: 60%
Minute 8: 70%
Minute 9: 80%
Minute 10: 90%
Minute 11: 60%
Minute 12: 70%
Minute 13: 80%
Minute 14: 90%
Minute 15: 60%
Minuet 16: 70%
Minute 17: 80%
Minute 18: 90%
Minute 19: 100% (all out sprint if you finish this minute and can still talk you doing something wrong :b )
Minute 20: 50%
My speed and running time has significantly increased although i couldn't give you numbers but lets just say my sprint is at 10mph (max it wont go higher damnit ...the treadmill that is) and a degree of 10.0
I'd say in the space of 7 months my distance has increased about 30% at the least.
I'm 5'10 190. 17% bf and am definitely NOT solid muscle cardio fitness and looking cut do NOT go hand in hand
