The Girl of the Month
Chassidy Luke Interview
MP: You have an unmatchable love for fitness. How did this develop?
Chassidy: I always worked out and played basketball through middle and high school and played softball. I was one of two girls who took weight lifting in High school. I always looked at fitness magazines and thought how amazing it was that people dedicated themselves to take time and take care of their bodies and minds.
MP: A lot of people get burnt out from fitness when they are involved in it too much. You are to opposite. You thrive on it and the more you do it, the more hooked you get. How do you keep that undying passion and what motivates you to push forward?
Chassidy: I always try to switch up my routines, sometimes I’m on the elliptical, then outside on the track running or walking. I also like Pilates and fun fitness classes.
MP: You are a certified personal trainer as well. Being a big name yourself, do you have any big time clients? What are the basic tenets that you try to teach your clients?
Chassidy: I train regular people. I want to help people feel good about themselves and balanced. Its almost therapeutic for me to know I’m helping someone. I also try to tell people you don’t get results over night and a lot of it is your diet. When a client starts to see the change in their body it makes me feel amazing knowing I could help them.
MP: Your high fitness level has launched you a very lucrative modeling career. Do you enjoy your job enough to do it forever how long your body permits or is this a platform to make the jump into a big time acting career?
Chassidy: I really have always modeled for fun and just really got into it and started to get published. I will always be the type of person to stay in shape and take care of myself. I would love to do acting in big screens but you got to start small and climb to the top. It’s a lot of time and work to dedicate yourself to working out and modeling.
MP: Like most first time models, you must have been very nervous and shy in front of the camera when you first started. Now that you’ve done a countless number of shoots, interviews with big name actors, pageants, runway shows, etc. do you still get those butterflies in your stomach or has the camera come natural to you?
Chassidy: It depends on who I'm interviewing or around and how our chemistry connects. I feel very natural in front of a camera or people. I have always had the ability to adapt to people around me very well.
MP: You must have to travel a lot to make it in this industry. Where do you travel to? Is it mostly domestic or do you travel internationally too? Do you enjoy all of the travelling or does the packing and the airport security bother you?
Chassidy: I don’t like to travel internationally unless it is Mexico somewhere close. I feel more comfortable traveling outside the us with someone I know. I have shoot in La, Vegas Florida, all over. I love to travel. With the economy it has slowed jobs down. I would love to be in a different city every day. It makes life fun and gives you personal growth with seeing different parts of the country and meeting people.
MP: What is the coolest magazine you have been in and why?
Chassidy: Ultimate grappaling which is now Ultimate MMA I love watching fighting and now there are more woman in the MMA industry, they train hard and look amazing. I have also done allot of Ring card girl events.
MP: Do you get a lot of perks modeling? Do they put you up in hotels and lavish you with gifts, products, etc.?
Chassidy: Haha...Some companies give a upscale hotel while another gives you a hotel like a motel 6 depending on their clients budget. One time I did a job and a few tornadoes came through while we were sleeping we woke up to everything being trashed and my friend had a tree on her car. She didn’t believe me at first. We wondered if they planned on waking us up to cover for shelter. But we made it and got the job done . Fun times. I would do it again. Sometimes I get to keep the clothes or get a few extra magazines. I get tanning stuff , etc.
MP: You are a big time music fan, so if you could pick one decade to live in based on music, which would it be? Why?
Chassidy: When Jimmie Hendrix was around. Those were good times and the people back then were just better. It was more of a trusting world.
MP: What concerts have you been to? If you had to choose one concert to go to from any band who would it be?
Chassidy: Wow it’s more like who have I not seen. Pantera I would have gave anything to see them live at least once before that tragic day.
MP: What are your favorite kinds of movies? Who is your favorite actor?
Chassidy: I like scary ones that are unpredictably written such as Orphan. Don’t really have a favorite well maybe Johnny Depp. He dedicates himself to everything he does.
MP: Who is your favorite poet? And do you write poetry of your own?
Chassidy: I like all poetry there are so many talented writers out there. I like poems that relate to me and you can vision what they are saying and yes I do.
MP: I think I speak for every guy on the planet, when I say that a female writing poetry, and especially a gorgeous woman like yourself, is incredibly sexy. Is the topic you most often write about “love”?
Chassidy: I write about what is going on in my life and how I feel, it could be an emotion or a situation whatever inspires me.
MP: Are you a dog or a cat lover?
Chassidy: A dog lover. Cats are too lazy for me.
MP: How long ago did you get your Yorkie and is it ever trouble taking care of him/her especially while you travel?
Chassidy: My little baby is 3 about to be 4 in October my friends help me out with her or sometimes I take her with me I refuse to put her in a kennel. I think kennels are cruel and gives animals no freedom.
MP: Are you single and looking?
Chassidy: Single but definitely not looking im focoused on my goals and future.
MP: What do you look for in a man? Are big muscles an attraction?
Chassidy: I look for personality, sense of humor, romantic, passionate, someone who is driven muscles or none depends on the guy.
MP: Is there anything people would be surprised to know about you?
Chassidy: I have a crooked toe Haha!
MP: You are a super hot intelligent girl. Do guys hit on you and ask you out all the time or does your natural beauty work against you because guys are too scared to approach you because of fear of rejection?
Chassidy: I really don’t pay attention. What really annoys me though is when you're driving and they're waving and doing the phone signal with their hand to their ear, as if I'm seriously going to pull over off the interstate and be like "Here baby, call me!" Haha. Guys, please don’t do stuff like that!
MP: Do you have any future goals in fitness, modeling, and life in general
Chassidy: I would love to be in Oxygen it’s a great magazine and shows good training techniques and maybe have a fitness video.
