Can You Squat Like Me? I Doubt It
I accomplished probably the greatest feat of strength in my life. No, it wasn't doing my max squat of 490 lbs. or my 320 lb. bench press. It wasn't squatting 325 lbs. for 21 reps or doing 250 consecutive pushups or 40 pull-ups without rest. It was doing a 148 lb. squat (the 45 lb. plate at my gym weighs 48 lbs…go figure). That may seem like very little weight. Try doing that 104 times consecutively with perfect form. I'm talking 104 reps "ass to the grass" as they like to say. How did I accomplish doing 104 reps of consecutive squats? How did I accomplish all of my feats of strength?
