Try doing the same amount of exercise in 10 percent less time by cutting down the amount of rest in between sets (not the overall amount of sets or reps). It forces your muscles to work harder and improves muscular endurance. If it takes you 30 minutes to do a workout then try to do it in 27 minutes the next time.

 



Side lateral raises done with dumbbells at the sides of the thighs better isolates the middle deltoid. However, doing front lateral raises with dumbbells allows you to lift significantly more weight as opposed to performing side lateral raises, which makes it the ideal exercise to overload the middle deltoids.

 




If you cut calories too drastically, the body will attempt to save energy by slowing down the metabolism. Moderate calorie cutting, which should be around 200-400 calories a day, allows fat to be burned properly without messing with metabolic processes.
